One great festival in UK happens in the month of August. The Edinburgh Festival holds the record of being the world's largest arts festivals. The Edinburgh festival is actually a collection of a number of festivals that take place in August at the same place. It all started at around 1947 during the end of the Second World War. A festival was organized to boost morale after such a depressing event, and several other theatrical organizations also set up their own festivals.
