One of the most popular sports there is the physical game of Rugby. It has also been home to the "World Pool Championships", where a collection of 9-ball superstars takes place.

One great festival in UK happens in the month of August. The Edinburgh Festival holds the record of being the world's largest arts festivals. The Edinburgh festival is actually a collection of a number of festivals that take place in August at the same place. It all started at around 1947 during the end of the Second World War. A festival was organized to boost morale after such a depressing event, and several other theatrical organizations also set up their own festivals.
